I’ve just finished this one. I feel that words are not enough to talk about this drama, but i’ll try. Let’s see: heartbreaking, overwhelming, unique, funny, hilarious, crying from sadness or too much laughter but most of all, inspirational and motivational. The cast…Ji Sung must be a genius too, alongside with Joo Won who played Park Shi Ohn in Good Doctor. These two are indeed some GOOD actors.
Ji Sung had a tough time in this drama having to impersonate seven different characters, one weirder than the other and he even impersonated a girl, actually two, but one of them was the most hilarious, funniest thing i’ve seen in a long time.
He was just brilliant and the writer…hands up, a very very creative person indeed. Hwang Jung Eum and Park Seo Joon also did very well and contributed a lot to the atmosphere.
The drama depicts the story of two abused children that grow up being haunted and shattered by the terrible memories and sufferings of their childhood but at the same time, this brings them closer to each other and makes it possible for them to heal their lifelong wounds.
Cha Do Hyun is a third generation heir born out of a wedlock that suffers from multiple-personality disorder and, although he’s a very well-behaved person and an exemplary student, he’s forced to live in exile while secretly treating his illness and solve the problems his other personalities make when he’s not around.
When returning to Korea to take over the family’s company, he bumps into Oh Ri Jin, a psychiatrist, and their lives get entangled because of his frequent personality changes, having no other choice but to make Oh Ri Jin his secret physician and so they start a roller coaster like journey to heal and keep him away from danger and problems.
On this journey, they discover there’s something else that connects them than the patient-doctor relationship and painful memories, as well as greed and the struggle for power of those around them, come back to torment and destroy their blooming love story.
Their sufferings and past memories can’t let you unshaken and will make you wonder what’s really important in life and if the things one does are really worthy the sacrifice or abuse. It also shows how our actions can affect others for life and how we can actually ruin those we care for. But at the same time, it gives one hope that there’s always someone willing to listen and help, at least one person that will always stay by your side and that no matter how big the pain is, there still can be healing for you too.
I really liked the chemistry between the main actors as well as their love story that’s very inspirational. A love that goes over the years, lost memories, pain, guilt and a love that forgives, heals and grows stronger with every trial. A pure, sincere love ready for any sacrifice and made to last.
From the plot, to the cast, music, atmosphere, everything is just perfect and touching, making it worthy to watch, with your heart and soul.
